Youth Enrichment Program


Youth makes up the the majority of Cambodia's population and they have been recognized as the backbone for national development. Enrich Center for Youth Development recognizes the importance roles that youth play and we are devoted to helping youth especially university students reach their fullest potential, by creating opportunities for youth, building their capacity, empowering them to take action and make a difference. Our mission is to train, develop and produce outstanding youth who possess all the necessary skills to be informed, respected, effective, and productive human resource for Cambodia. 


Youth Enrichment Program (EYP) is a youth capacity building initiative by Enrich Institute and the Global Shaper Phnom Penh. It is a professional training program designed to train youth to be ready for tomorrow workplace. The program equips trainees with three set of skills: project management skills, soft skills and work skills. The syllabus is professionally developed to incorporate in-class training, simulation exercises and practical project implementation which allow trainees to gain in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience. The program is organized twice a year with each intake limits to only 30 trainees. 


The training activities include:
  • Lectures by professional Khmer and International trainers
  • Practical simulation exercises
  • Community project
  • Interaction with local leaders 


What trainees will get after the completion of the program:

  • Know to successfully plan, implement  and evaluate a project
  • Improve soft skills such as leadership, goal setting, teamwork and communication skill 
  • Improve job skills and increase employability
  • Build and expand network with youth and professionals
  • Gain practical experience in doing and managing project
  • Contribute meaningfully to Cambodia’s society

Certificate
A special certificate of accomplishment will be issued to successful trainees. This well-recognized certificate will give trainees a comparative advantage when applying for jobs and scholarship.
 
Selection criteria:
  • This program is opened to everyone in the public regardless of their background
  • Strong commitment to complete this 12-week long program
  • Good English proficiency
  • Flexible, creative and solution oriented
  • Open-minded and willing to learn new things

Training duration and schedule
Training duration: 36 hours /12 weeks
Course A: Every Saturday from 9am-12pm
Course B: Every Saturday from 2pm-5pm 
 
Training Fee

$150 per trainee
